GUEST TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SHORT TERM HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION

Please read the conditions of tenancy below carefully. Each person staying on the property (“The Guest”) acknowledges and agrees that these conditions apply and extend to any person (“Guest”) occupying or visiting the property and/or using the facilities at the property/complex at the invitation of or with the authority of the guest.

These conditions are an agreement between parties. Any infringement of these conditions permits the Owner to refuse a key, amend the rental and/or terminate the tenancy without a refund. Variances of the conditions can be agreed upon but only by arrangement with the own in writing.
Payment: Advanced payment is required to secure any booking.

Bond:It is a condition of this agreement that the guest provide security for their occupation.We request a copy of a driver’s license and a $300 security bond. Failure to supply these promptly may result in your booking being cancelled. A bond applies to all accommodation by cash. The guests are liable for payment and charges incurred by any guest for all replacements and necessary costs for any damage or loss to the property and its contents or to the Body Corporate property. If there is no damage or loss to which the guests are liable, the sum of the bond will be returned.
Keys: Keys to the property will not be made available until all payments/fees have been paid in full. Arrangement for the collection of keys outside of office hours should be made prior to arrival. Keys must be return upon departure. A key collection fee will apply if the keys are not returned.

Cancellations: In the case of cancellation by the client, money paid is non-refundable unless the house is re-let for the entire period of the booking. If a refund is made, due to the property being re-let, then a $50 cancellation fee will apply. Under no circumstances will refunds apply for early departure.

Arrival and departure:

  • Check-in is at 2pm unless otherwise advised.
  • Departure time is at 11:00am.
    • Keys and remote must be returned to us at Lot 37, Third Avenue on the morning of departure.

Linen: The property is let without linen. Tenants must supply their own sheets, towels, pillows, pillowslips and hand towels.

No smoking: Seabird Getaway has a strict NO SMOKING policy. No cigarette butts are to be left on the premises.

Pets: Pets are NOT permitted on the premises of Seabird Caravan Park, including Seabird Getaway.

Cleaning: The property is to be left in a reasonable, clean and tidy condition. The fridge is to be emptied, kitchen benches wiped down, kitchenware to be washed, dried and put away clean, BBQ cleaned after use and floors swept.
All bottles and rubbish must be disposed of via the bins and/or garbage chute before departure. There is a rubbish trailer located behind the shop near the workshop.
Should the property be left in an unacceptable condition that requires excessive cleaning, a fee of approximately $50 will apply.

FISH ARE NOT TO BE CLEANED ON THE PREMISES UNDER ANY  CIRCUMSTANCES.

Accommodating extra persons:
Setting up makeshift structures (tents, caravans etc.) on the property permits is prohibited. Seabird Getaway strictly sleeps maximum 6 persons.

Vacate Demand:
The tenant must vacate the premises upon demand of the Agent or Owner without refund upon breach of this agreement. Infringements include incorrect information supplied to the agency upon booking the property, causing malicious damage to the property, being/causing a public nuisance, excessive noise, accommodating more persons than agreed, hosting of parties on the premises, setting up makeshift structures or ignoring warnings or requests from the agent.

Noise restrictions: Seabird Getaway has a No Party policy in addition to a No Excessive Noise policy. No party or event is to be hosted on Seabird Getaway premises. Any guests found to bei n breach of this clause will have their occupancy terminated immediately.

Lost & forgotten items: Please carefully check that you have collected all your belongings prior to departure from the property. We cannot guarantee any items left on the property will be found and returned to you. If at any time you request us to return to the property to check for lost items, there will be a minimum $30 collection and postage charge. All lost items will be held for a period of 1 (one) month.
